Time. It is infinite and also finite. And also, somehow, doesn’t really exist at all. But is it stealing from us? Or guiding us?

Time. It is infinite and also finite. And also, somehow, doesn’t really exist at all. We have no idea that time is happening until we look at a clock or start to notice the wrinkles on our faces.

Time is also a thief. As it passes, it takes from you. If you aren’t careful, it can take your dreams, your youth, your aspirations. Uhhh.

But with all the things it collects from you, it also leaves others. Things that are hidden in plain sight. Things you may only see if you slow down.

Time also gives us growth. Growth in every sense of the word. Over time, you can grow in your knowledge, grow in your sense of self. And, if you are really lucky, it gives you the ability to heal.

Although time appears on the outside to be taking away the things that we think we need or want, maybe what it is actually doing is leaving breadcrumbs for us to find a better version of ourselves. A version only available if we are willing to slow down – look at the things we thought we lost, as actually powers w e gained.

Time may take your supple skin or safe view of the world. But it leaves you with new ways to think, new ways to be, and maybe even new ways to exist. Time is like a wily older mentor that tells you, you should break down those boxes every time you empty one… but you never fully listen or understand why they care about the boxes until the night before recycling is coming and you have a garage full of boxes from all that shit you ordered and didn’t really need.

Time… maybe it’s a thief…. Or maybe… it’s a guide. I will leave it up to you to decide.
